Heavy Metals – Urine

Our Heavy Metals test evaluates the body’s burden of toxic metals through a 24-hour urine collection following the administration of a metal detoxification agent (chelating agent).
It provides a reliable method for assessing metal accumulation that may not be evident through blood testing alone.
While acute heavy metal toxicity is uncommon, chronic low-level exposure – from environmental, occupational, or dietary sources -can lead to the gradual buildup of metals in tissues. Over time, this may contribute to:

  • Oxidative stress
  • Neurological dysfunction
  • Immune dysregulation
  • Chronic disease development

By identifying retained metals such as mercury, lead, arsenic, cadmium, and others, this test supports targeted detoxification protocols.
