Fibrosis-4 (FIB-4) Score

FIB-4 Score is a calculated marker used to estimate the likelihood of liver fibrosis (scarring) using age, AST, ALT and platelet count.

It helps identify people who may be at higher risk of significant liver fibrosis and who may benefit from further liver assessment, such as elastography or specialist review.

Requires AST (Aspartate Aminotransferase) , ALT (Alanine Aminotransferase), PLT (Platelet Count – included in Full Blood Count)
