Aldosterone

Aldosterone is a hormone produced by the adrenal glands that helps regulate blood pressure by controlling sodium, potassium and fluid balance.

An aldosterone blood test may help investigate high or low blood pressure, abnormal potassium levels or suspected adrenal gland conditions, often alongside a renin test.
