Terms & Conditions for Atlas Laboratories Ltd.
(operating under the brand name “My Atlas”)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases and use of services and products provided by Atlas Laboratories Ltd, including those offered under the brand name My Atlas, via our website, telephone, email, and written correspondence.
By placing an order, booking an appointment, purchasing a kit, activating a kit (if applicable),or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If there is any conflict between these Terms and any information provided elsewhere, these Terms will prevail unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
1.Definitions and Who We Are
1.1 We / Us / Our: Atlas Laboratories Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales(company number15350315) with registered office at Suite 3, The Colony Buildings, Altrincham Road, Wilmslow, SK9 4LY.
My Atlas is a trading name and brand of Atlas Laboratories Ltd. Any reference to “My Atlas” on our website, communications, invoices, or materials is a reference to Atlas Laboratories Ltd.
1.2 You / Your: The customer who accesses our website or contacts us and intends to place, or has placed, an order for our services or products.
1.3 Product / Service: The test(s), sample collection kit (where provided), sample analysis via our UKAS-accredited partner laboratories, results reporting, and any associated services(including optional phlebotomy services where offered).
1.4 Working Day: Any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday in the UK.
1.5 Validity Period: The period within which your test must be completed (see Section 7).
1.6 Account / Activation (where applicable): Where required, activation means registering personal details and linking a test to ensure the laboratory can correctly identify the individual providing the sample. The person providing the sample must be the individual associated with that test.
2. Eligibility and UK Use Only
2.1 You must be 18 years or over to purchase, activate (if applicable), or provide a sample for testing.
2.2 Our Products and Services are provided for use within the United Kingdom only. We only dispatch kits to UK addresses and our partner laboratories only process samples taken and posted within the UK.
3. Our Services and Important Restrictions
3.1 All home testing kits require a venous blood draw taken by a qualified phlebotomist or nurse. Home testing kits are not suitable for capillary finger-prick testing.
3.2 Depending on the test, sample collection may require:
- A kit posted to you
- Attendance at a clinic
- A home visit by a phlebotomist (where available)
3.3 It is your responsibility to ensure you have internet access and a working email address so we can provide service communications and make results available electronically.
4. Customer Responsibilities: Preparation and Instructions
4.1 Certain blood tests require fasting from food and caffeine prior to blood draw and avoidance of fatty foods where instructed.
4.2 Failure to follow preparation or collection instructions may affect your results, and Atlas Laboratories Ltd accepts no responsibility for any resulting inaccuracies.
4.3 You are responsible for reading and following all instructions supplied with your kit and in any communications we send you.
5. Sample Collection and Return
5.1 Samples must be returned to our UKAS-accredited partner laboratory on the same day the blood is drawn using the pre-paid envelope provided.
5.2 You must complete the Sample Date and Sample Time fields on the sample identification card at the time of collection.
5.3 Delayed posting or failure to follow return instructions may compromise sample quality.
6. When the Laboratory Cannot Test a Sample
6.1 Our partner laboratory may be unable to test a sample due to insufficient volume, deterioration, clotting, or haemolysis.
6.2 In such cases, we will issue one replacement kit free of charge.
6.3 If you arranged your own venous collection, you are responsible for arranging and paying for any repeat collection.
6.4 We are not obliged to provide further replacements where failure is due to factors outside our control.
7. Test Validity Period
7.1 Tests are valid for 90 days from order confirmation
7.2 Samples not returned within this Validity Period may expire, including consumables required for venous draw, and may not be eligible for a refund, subject to statutory rights.
8. Dispatch, Delivery and Turnaround Times
8.1 Dispatch and delivery timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed.
8.2 Delivery is deemed complete on the first attempted delivery to the address you provide.
8.3 Any stated test turnaround times are non-binding estimates expressed in Working Days. Delays may occur due to laboratory quality control, courier disruption, peak demand, or events outside our control.
9. Lost or Damaged Kits (Replacement Fees)
9.1 If a kit arrives damaged, notify us promptly and we will arrange a replacement where appropriate.
9.2 Replacement fees apply where a kit is lost or damaged after delivery:
- £10 for standard serum blood test kits
- £15 for advanced diagnostic tests (including GI-360 and DUTCH)
10. Results, Interpretation and Medical Disclaimer
10.1 Test results and any commentary are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute a medical diagnosis.
10.2 This service is not a substitute for medical advice from our doctors, your own GP or qualified healthcare professional.
10.3 You are responsible for acting on results and recommendations provided.
10.4 You agree to share any results outside the normal range with a qualified medical
professional.
10.5 Seek urgent medical attention where symptoms are severe or concerning
11. Selecting Tests and Right to Refuse Service
11.1 You are responsible for selecting appropriate tests. If unsure, please contact us or seek medical advice before ordering.
11.2 We may refuse or limit services where necessary for patient safety, clinical governance, or regulatory compliance.
12. Communications
12.1 We may contact you by email, phone, or SMS using the contact details you provide.
12.2 It is your responsibility to keep your contact details up to date.
12.3 Results are not sent by email unless requested. We may contact you urgently if results indicate a serious health concern.
13. Orders, Payment and Contract Formation
13.1 Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
13.2 Payment must be received in full before processing.
13.3 A legally binding contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance of your order.
13.4 If we cannot accept an order, we will notify you and refund any sums paid.
14. Appointments (Where Applicable)
14.1 If you book a clinic appointment or home visit, you must attend on time and follow instructions provided.
14.2 Missed appointments, late cancellations, or failure to attend may result in reasonable cancellation or rebooking fees, which will be made clear at the time of booking
15.Cancellations and Refunds
15.1 Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.
15.2 Once a kit is dispatched, a sample is taken, or a sample is sent for analysis, refunds may be restricted.
15.3 Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
16. Data Protection and Cookies
16.1 Personal and health data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
16.2 Cookies and advertising technologies (including the Meta Pixel) are governed by our Cookie Policy and only operate with your consent.
16.3 We do not intentionally share health test selections or results with advertising platforms
17. Public Health Reporting
17.1 Where required by law, data may be shared with relevant health authorities under the Health Protection (Notification) Regulations 2010.
18. Intellectual Property
All website content, reports, branding, and materials (including those branded My Atlas) are owned by or licensed to Atlas Laboratories Ltd and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.
19. Our Liability
19.1 Our Products and Services are for private use only.
19.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant Product or Service.
19.3 Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under law.
20. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including courier disruption, industrial action, extreme weather, power/net workout ages, or laboratory service interruption
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order will apply to that order.
22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law provides otherwise.
